Refund Policy

Refunds for season memberships are made at the sole discretion of the CMAC Board of Directors. While consideration will be made to special or unique situations, after November 1 refunds are given only for serious illness or physical injury to the athlete that will inhibit their ability to participate in the program for a substantial portion of the remainder the season.  Requests for refunds based on illness or injury may, at the Board of Directors’ discretion, require a note of explanation from the athlete’s doctor. The refund amount will be based on the fraction of the season that has elapsed at the time of notifying CMAC. Refunds before November 1 will be for the full membership cost minus a $100 processing fee. Skiers determined unable to ski at the appropriate level will be given a full refund minus a $50 processing fee.

Refunds for cancelling camp registrations less than 60 days before the start of the camp and for any reason aside from illness or physical injury will be subject to a partial refund due to the fixed costs associated with running camps. Cancellations requested earlier than 60 days will receive a complete refund minus a $50 processing fee. Refunds for a cancellation request made less than 60 days before the start of the camp will be at the following levels:

  • For overnight camp registrations, 25% of the registration will be refunded.
  • For walk on registrations, 50% of the registration will be refunded.

Other specialized training camps such as training in Colorado will be refunded as the budget allows. These partial refunds are required, because ensuring a quality camp means we must reserve lodging, lane space and hire coaches well in advance. If you have not yet paid for your camp registration when you request a cancellation, you are still liable for the camp registration less what can be refunded. Higher camp registration refund amounts are possible – up to the full camp case minus the $50 processing fee – if another athlete (e.g. from a wait list) is available to take the place of the cancelling athlete.

Lift ticket charges at camps will be refunded for days athletes were not able to ski, for example when the mountain does not open due to inclement weather.

All requests for refunds must be in written form and should be sent to refund@cmacskiracing.com
