The Hampton Cup race at Mission Ridge showed the incredible commitment to ski-racing that skiers from the Pacific Northwest posses!  Our CMAC coaches and MRST in particular showed amazing resolve in doing everything possible to run a race under difficult circumstances.  We all owe a big "Thank You!" to our coaches for staying out in the rain all day Saturday!

CMAC earned first place as a team, and many of our skiers showed some great skiing.  On the girls' side, Tess Baldwin placed 2nd overall (1st U16), Talia Toland placed 12th, Megan Wurden 13th, Makaela Bielaski 16th, Leah Blanchard 19th, and Maddie Lafreniere 20th.  Rounding out the girls' side, we had Hailey Holm (24), Anna Gibbons (27), Patsy Kerslake (28), Kate Jendrezak (29), Sarah Wurden (40), Ashley Ohara (41), Alexi Most (55) and Piper O'Kane (58).

The boys did great too!  Peter Moe-Lang won the race and Ty Ellis got 3rd.  Corbin Kray placed 15th, Max Lafreniere placed 23rd, Conner Niemann 24th, and first year U14 racer Lewis White earned 26th and 3rd place for U14s!  The rest of the boys placed as follows: Duncan Walker (27), Simon Toribio (28), Thomas Buckner (29), Zach Derwin (31), Wyatt Kray (32), Sam Chapman (35), Carson Homewood (43), Adam Moe-Lang (44), Alex Tiscornia (50), Ben-Martin Wilkinson (51) and Julian Sanders (55).  A big shout-out to Sam Chapman for moving up 58 places for his finish!  Also to Carson Homewood for completing his first ski race ever!
